James One 27 Jewelry
James 1:27 " Religion that God our
Father accepts as pure and faultless is this:
to look after orphans and widows
in their distress
..." NIV
Hi my name is Kiana Markham (Congdon) and I am the founder of James One 27 Jewelry.  I grew up in Alaska in a wonderful family and enjoyed every minute of it.  When I was in 8th grade my family went to Africa for three months.  While there, I fell in love with the people and the place.  I also gained from that time in Africa a true sense of how many blessings we have here in America.  The trip changed my world view.
My husband and I have been married 15 years and have two beautiful children.  I have a wonderful family, and we enjoy creating this jewelry together.
I have enjoyed making jewelry and working with beads as far back as I can remember.
I worked at a local family owned jewelry company in Alaska for over three years and learned so much about the process of creating, building, marketing, and selling jewelry.  I also learned many aspects about operating and managing a small business.
When I first saw these Ugandan beads I wanted to do something to help market them for the beautiful African ladies that made them.

James One 27 Jewelry was created by combining: my background in travel and in beading, hearts desire to help widows in Africa (and potentially other areas of the world), business experience, enjoyment of being creative, and love of adoption.

Thank you so much for supporting JamesOne27Jewelry.
